Foundation (English)

my natural colour
without makeups
hi hi! okay, I just wanna know, how many of you ladies out there, like makeups? I'm sure most of you do, no matter how old you are, right? We try to prettify ourself from the root of our hair to the end of our toe nails. Don't denyyyy it. haha.

I've looked up in youtubes mostly on tutorials on how to makeup like this and that but most of the tutorial are suitable or made for lighter skin tone. For being a caramel colour like me. I gotta problem with that. So, I figured, why not I do tutorial sometimes (on process). Right now I'm starting off with telling you a range of Foundation that is suitable for darker skin tone. So be patient with me.

happens to fair people too.
this is what I've meant
As you can see this is me, that's my natural colour. Being this colour and being in ASIA, Malaysia exactly is kinda hard because most of the malaysian made makeup range is usually in lighter tone! (I'm not sure about other country, perhaps you've got the same problem). By light tone, I mean skin colours like chinese, korean, olive skin colour and mild tanned. so if you're any range of chocolate, it's gonna be nightmare. I didn't say I don't like local products, no. I've tried Simplicity, Syurah, Silkygirl, it is too light for my tone so, it made me look like I'm wearing a mask. BUT, but but. if you like that kinda look. I'd say well good for you! I'm not always right ;). But I don't fancy opera looks. (the pics on the right is just an example of how'd you'd look if you put on foudation which is too light for your skin, and on camera with flash it show up really bad.)

So I've tried many international brands and few of my Favvvvvvs are Bobbi Brown, Kate, Sephora, Rimmel, and Revlon!. Right now I'm soooo hooked up with Revlon's Colorstay Whipped! It's so easy to get andddddd, I don't feel uneasy, oily and tired with this Foundation. I'm usually always with make up and I find this Revlon is very lasting and doesn't give me any breakouts. Very very suitable for oily skin and people who are prone to pimples/acnes because, it has anti-bacteria properties. Niceeeeee.

this is how to test
Okay, say you are gonna go get and the Foundation right, please please please try it on first. A lot of people think that it is their colour and, nooo, foundation tends to be lighter when you put it on. So try it on, and TRY IT on your face. Just a tiny tiny amount, put it on your forehead, cheek, jaw or anywhere on your face. Do not test on your hand for matching colours. Sometimes people have darker hand caused by sun exposure and this will probably confuse you.

And guys, before trying....please. Make sure you're not allergic to any of it's contents, I don't want you guys to suffer and blame me cause :( I'm the one to suggest you. and I'd be sad if that happens. So...say, you couldn't find the exact colour...always pick the one which is slightly lighter, SLIGHTLY okay, don't abuse it hahaha. I'm sure you'd be able to find one.

This is Revlon Colorstay Whipped (matte), I love it love love love. A lil dislike on the packaging though but there are many types like Revlon Colorstay Airbrush Mousse inna pump container. So find out which work well for your skin. I've tried the whipped and the mousse, The mousse give glossy look and I have oily face so I prefer matte look. I use the Caramel Colour for both. :D So pick well and have fun. Tell me how it goes for you guys.

additional infos: For me, a foundation is important to make your skin colour more even, but it's up to you, like I said. You don't need to follow all I've said. Imagine, a blank paper, and spotted paper, which would be easier to write, draw, paint, colour? Just saying :D Have fun. Thanks for reading.

PS, please let me know what you think about my post. I'm still new and I'd like to know so that I can make it better for you guys!
