Basic Make-up Brushes (English)

Hi hi!, okay today's post is about MAKEUP BRUSHES. I know some of you guys don't own all, and some does!

Anyways, these are few examples of brushes mostly used ni makeup session by professional people! It's like woooooooh! back to art class right? I know *roll eyes* but don't worry if you don't have the whole sets of brushes. It's alright! because we don't be needing all of them anyway, you're just gonna use few out of the many and and and you can be creative and saving by inventing whatever that can give you about the same effects.

Here, I'm gonna tell you which I think is important and that you need to have (which I have) anddd, if somehow, someday, one of your most important brush went "magically missing" what can you use to substitute in that moment ASAP! :)

1st. OKEY! The first brush, I ever ever-er had is my EYESHADOW Brush. Usually you dont need to buy them. I've bought few eyeshadows and it came together as a set (sometimes it doesn't!! woops, please check or ask the sales lady!) Eyeshadow brush is kinda important for me, because for me I think eyes are the most important catch that we have on our face! like people always say "eyes are the windows to the soul" I know, I know...I sound cheesy...but it's true though, I mean I know, I get cought up in someone's eyes sometimes, pretty eyes are like so hard to resist (ehem!) Anyways, this brush's function as an applicator for eyeshadow...I'm sure you guys know that well...duhhh. but but but~ I gotta sick problem where I kinda like to use it different way! ohhhhhh (so not perverted ways don't worry). I like to use eyeshadow brush to apply my black eyeshadow as my eyeliner!! does that even make sense? well, works like an eyeliner but slightly messy and thick, no need to get confused alright! so yeah you guys can try it sometimes. (tips: if, somehow your eyeshadow brush was missing or dirty, you can try to use the cottonbud, yep, i did, especially for smudged up effect.:D hehehe)

2nd. Besides that, I think you guys can figure out that I'm a eyeliner freak...>.< I dont need to bother hiding that I guess.... so for sure, surely I have EYELINER BRUSH. I bought gel liner and it came together (maybelline and bobbi brown) I find it useful and never thought of buying most of the brushes. Sadly, I don't really use this brush much because I am fully satisfied with my eyeliner pencil's result! arrest me but leave my eyeliner pencil alone! (tips: sometimes eyeshadow brush has dual ending and on the other end, there's eyeliner brush as well.)
3rd. Lastly, BLUSH BRUSH. :X this one also you can get together when you buy blusher (sometimes you don't), I'm not even sure where I get mine because my blusher doesn't come with one, ohhhh yeh, my mummy gave it to me! she found it lying around and she's not using it (neither do I) but I do use blusher though. I hardly use blush brush, is because, I prefer to use my fingers....I know it's messy...that's just me, I just like the blending effect better but you guys can keep to the brush though.
(tips: if you don't have or find it missing like the others as well, this is what you can use to apply your blusher. If you have extra compact powder sponge around use it or your fingers. If you're confused, ask me I'll can make a videoclip to show you how!)
sponge compact power
aka foundation sponge
Basically, that's the BASIC brushes that you guys need to have to ease and save your time! if you do have the whole set, it's great, but if you don't you can always try my ways. for me, if you have it, use it. if you don't, substitute! (I use my fingers kinda a lot, that's what gets me satisfied the most!) sooo yup, that's it for brushes that I have and use and I think it's important to have if you wanna put on makeup like I do. Thanks for reading and if you do have questions feel free to ask. I'd love to hear!! xoxo muah-muah.

Berus Make-up Asas

Hi hi!, okay harini topic die BERUS makeup....buruknye name enn? ...hahahaha Brush lebey comel sikit kot.

Anyways, ni lah contoh-contoh berus-berus yang digunakan untuk sesi melaram oleh orang orang professional. Macam masok kelas seni balik lak kan....don't worry! Kalau you guys tak ada semua satu set, tak perrr. Sebabnya, kita tak perlukan semua pon, you guys boleh jadi creative dan jimat.

Kat sini lynn gitau yang mane lynn rase penting and patut ade, yang mana lynn ade...and..and kalau tetibe brush tu "hilang" (jatuh, terbuang dll) ape leh digantikan sebagai emergency. :)

1st. OKEY! First Brush yang lynn ever ever ada, adalah EYESHADOW brush. Usually takpayah beli sebab it comes together ngan eyeshadow (kekadang takdapat skali woops, check dulu tau atau tanye sales person). Eyeshadow brush ni kira cam agak penting(patut ade) untuk lynn sebab, bagi lynn mata paling penting, kata orang melayu "mata tu leh memukau orang" kata orang english lak "eyes are windows to the soul" woooh. jiwang kannnn, tapi this is true! Lynn suke tengok mata orang!! Anyways, fungsi brush ni untuk kita calit eyeshadow berwarna warni kat kelopak mata. but but but!, lynn ni bertabiat sikit, suka wat benda2 lain, so Lynn kekadang suka guna eyeshadow brush ni utk letak eyeshadow hitam lynn macam eyeliner! Paham???? So dia tebal sikit la. :D okeyyyy, korang leh try nanti. (tips: kalau terhilang ke brush kotor ke, silalah gune cottonbud, yes lynn pernah gune cottonbud hehehe)

2nd. Selain tu, lynn memang kaki eyeliner, >.< takpayah cover kan, so semestinya ada EYELINE BRUSH, ni pon  lynn dapat skali ngan gel eyeliner lynn (maybellin & bobbi brown = colour terbaikk..) fungsi eyeliner brush ni utk pakai eyeliner ngan cantik, brush dia selalunya panjang and nipis and bermuncung senang nak buat line nipis. but lynn jarang gune eyeliner brush, sebab lynn da berpuas hati ngan EYELINER pencil yg lynn gune.
(tips: kekadang lynn gune eyeshadow brush, sbb eyeshadow brush ade size tip yang berbeza, ada yang muncung tirus :)

3rd. Lastly, BLUSH BRUSH. ;x Ni pon klu beli blusher dapat skali, lynn punye ntah mane datang sebab blusher lynn takde brush, ohhhh yah mummy lynn kasi. Tapi blusher brush ni lynn tak skalu guna macam eyeliner brush jugak. sbb lynn suke gune jari-jari muhahahaha. sebab lynn rase lebeh smooth and soft colour blushes kalau pakai jari.
(tips: kalau takde or hilang blush brush ni, boleh gune sponge compact power  untuk pakai blush - kalau confuse sila bertanya, lynn boleh wat videoclip so senang paham.)
sponge compact power
aka foundation sponge
Basically, tu jer la yang BASIC you guys patut ade untuk menyenangkan kerje you guys and menjimatkan masa untuk bermakeup. if you guys ade satu set pon takde masalah! :) bagi lynn, kalau ade gunelah, kalau takde, subsitute! Lynnnn ni pengemar guna jari, kekadang eye shadow pon lynn letak pakai jari kalau lynn rase tak puas. Alright, tu je post untuk brushes yang lynn rase penting. kalau rasa ade apa-apa soalan, sila bertanya :) Thanks!!

Foundation (English)

my natural colour
without makeups
hi hi! okay, I just wanna know, how many of you ladies out there, like makeups? I'm sure most of you do, no matter how old you are, right? We try to prettify ourself from the root of our hair to the end of our toe nails. Don't denyyyy it. haha.

I've looked up in youtubes mostly on tutorials on how to makeup like this and that but most of the tutorial are suitable or made for lighter skin tone. For being a caramel colour like me. I gotta problem with that. So, I figured, why not I do tutorial sometimes (on process). Right now I'm starting off with telling you a range of Foundation that is suitable for darker skin tone. So be patient with me.

happens to fair people too.
this is what I've meant
As you can see this is me, that's my natural colour. Being this colour and being in ASIA, Malaysia exactly is kinda hard because most of the malaysian made makeup range is usually in lighter tone! (I'm not sure about other country, perhaps you've got the same problem). By light tone, I mean skin colours like chinese, korean, olive skin colour and mild tanned. so if you're any range of chocolate, it's gonna be nightmare. I didn't say I don't like local products, no. I've tried Simplicity, Syurah, Silkygirl, it is too light for my tone so, it made me look like I'm wearing a mask. BUT, but but. if you like that kinda look. I'd say well good for you! I'm not always right ;). But I don't fancy opera looks. (the pics on the right is just an example of how'd you'd look if you put on foudation which is too light for your skin, and on camera with flash it show up really bad.)

So I've tried many international brands and few of my Favvvvvvs are Bobbi Brown, Kate, Sephora, Rimmel, and Revlon!. Right now I'm soooo hooked up with Revlon's Colorstay Whipped! It's so easy to get andddddd, I don't feel uneasy, oily and tired with this Foundation. I'm usually always with make up and I find this Revlon is very lasting and doesn't give me any breakouts. Very very suitable for oily skin and people who are prone to pimples/acnes because, it has anti-bacteria properties. Niceeeeee.

this is how to test
Okay, say you are gonna go get and the Foundation right, please please please try it on first. A lot of people think that it is their colour and, nooo, foundation tends to be lighter when you put it on. So try it on, and TRY IT on your face. Just a tiny tiny amount, put it on your forehead, cheek, jaw or anywhere on your face. Do not test on your hand for matching colours. Sometimes people have darker hand caused by sun exposure and this will probably confuse you.

And guys, before trying....please. Make sure you're not allergic to any of it's contents, I don't want you guys to suffer and blame me cause :( I'm the one to suggest you. and I'd be sad if that happens. So...say, you couldn't find the exact colour...always pick the one which is slightly lighter, SLIGHTLY okay, don't abuse it hahaha. I'm sure you'd be able to find one.

This is Revlon Colorstay Whipped (matte), I love it love love love. A lil dislike on the packaging though but there are many types like Revlon Colorstay Airbrush Mousse inna pump container. So find out which work well for your skin. I've tried the whipped and the mousse, The mousse give glossy look and I have oily face so I prefer matte look. I use the Caramel Colour for both. :D So pick well and have fun. Tell me how it goes for you guys.

additional infos: For me, a foundation is important to make your skin colour more even, but it's up to you, like I said. You don't need to follow all I've said. Imagine, a blank paper, and spotted paper, which would be easier to write, draw, paint, colour? Just saying :D Have fun. Thanks for reading.

PS, please let me know what you think about my post. I'm still new and I'd like to know so that I can make it better for you guys!

Foundation

hi hi, okay, lynn nak tauuu..brape ramai orang suka bermakeup? kebanyakkan perempuan tak kira umur la kan....dari hujung rambut sampai hujung kuku kaki, ade je kite nak mencantikkan something, kan kan kan.

first post, lynn nak gitau serba sikit pasal make up utk macam lynn and product yang lynn guna. Main harini adalah tentang FOUNDATION kalau u guys sedar...and tak rabun warna...nampak sangat kulit lynn ni tak seputih Rozita Che Wan wahahahahaha. em, biasa la...artis tuh.

foundation lebih cerah
dari kuli asal
walaupon cerah, foundation
lgi cerah dari tona dia.
anyways, kulit lynn kaler chocolate2 gitu. ahaks, sangat-sangat suka kaler ni (syok sendiri la) tapi yang tak best jadi berkaler mcam lynn ni adalah.....susah nak cari foundation!!! especially kalau "nak support product tempatan" memang HAMPEH!. Sebab majority product kat malaysia ni especially foundation sesuai utk orang-orang kulit sawo2 matang, kuning, susu, dan lain2. So.....kalau orang2 kulit macam lynn, kalau nak gak pakai....jadi "HIDUP BAGAIKAN PENTAS OPERA~" -bak kate awie...muke tu sah macam topeng, kalau you guys suke gaya tu, then it's up to you la, cita rasa orang lain2. janji korang happy :) tapi, lynn tak suke mcm tu. Jadi, lynn terpaksa try try try byk2 brands last-last jumpe la beberapa jenama yang memuaskan hati lynn.

pilih yang paling hampir,
kalau takde, amik yang
1 tone lebeh cerah.
Never ever amik darker.
oh well, lynn sangat suka empat brands ni :
Bobby Brown - name pun dah brown kan..
sephora - baru bukak (dalam dua tahun lepas, xsure org tau ke tak)
Revlon - Senang nak dapatkan.
Kate - Senang nak dapatkan but ramai tak tau sangat...

Right now, lynn gune foundation Revlon sebab...dengan tak malu lynn mengaku, lynn ni malas. So since lynn malas nak kuar, lynn beli je kat pharmacy dekat tempat lynn. Revlon ni boleh di dapati kat Guardian, Watson, Tesco, dan Sasa, tempat-tempat lain, lynn tak sure. Berbanding 3 yang lain, ni boleh dikatakan agak murah la. Kalau nak beli, PLEASE. Jangan pergi terus amik kaler yang you guys rase hampir macam kulit you. Please try it on kalau ade tester. Kalau nak try, jangan try kat lengan or tapak tangan, try terus kat dahi ke pipi ke, kadang-kadang, kulit kita especially tangan lebih gelap dari tempat-tempat lain. Jadi try terus ke muke, tapi pastikan you guys tak alergic dengan kandungan ni dulu.

this is my colour!
Ni la Revlon Colorstay Whipped, pekat, colour dia...best gile...and kalau dah pakai, foundation ni tak merimaskan or buat you guys rase macam ada something kat muka. no no no....AND AND AND. Sape yang senang naik jerawat! or kulit berminyak sesuai sgt ngan whipped type sebab revlon yang whipped ni memang direka utk kulit berminyak, die ade anti bacteria properties dalam foundation ni untuk mencegah naik jerawat. Lynn colour Caramel. hehehe. Selamat mencuba!

Nota tambahan : For your information, bagi lynn, foundation paling penting. Sebab, kalau muke tak sekata, tak cantik gak ape yang kete letak. ibarat kertas kosong, kalau kertas tu kosong kan senang nak tambah ape2, kalau kertas tu da bertompok2....da kacau. macam tu la yer hahahaha
